Definition of Terms 

In this directory, the word "parent" also means "guardian" unless otherwise stated. 

The term "administration" refers to the members of the Board of Governors, Proprietor and Director of Studies and Deputy, Principal/Vice Principal, Head Teacher and Administrative Assistant/Supervisor. The term "academic staff" refers to all categories of teachers. "Junior staff" refers to matrons, and secretaries etc. "ancillary Staff" includes drivers, cooks, cleaners, sales staff of the school's canteen etc. The word "pupil" refers to all categories of learners from Nursery to SSS three (III). 

The term "school grounds" include the school's facilities, school's property, property within the jurisdiction of the school or school premises, school-owned or school operated buses or vehicles includes hired ones. The term "school facilities" include school buildings, pieces of furniture, computers, printers, beds, and vehicles etc. The term "school activities" means all school related engagements in which pupils are involved whether they are school-sponsored or school-approved events or activities, or whether they are held on or off school grounds.
